If you arrived here from an outside post, thank you for visiting. I’d like to give you a chance to get to know me a little better before reaching out.
I’m a native Michigander, but I spent 27 years out west before realizing that home is truly where I belong. I returned to Northern Michigan in 2015 – Traverse City, to be exact – and I don’t plan to leave again. It’s in my blood. Maybe it’s the air. I just know I pined for it the whole time I was away.
An engineering job took me west, but after 9/11, I enrolled in massage school and changed the course of my life. I realized I’m a healer, and I feel most alive when I’m helping others..
In 2017, I attended a series of health classes on inflammation, neurological health, nutrition, energy, and more. That’s where I first heard the term “epigenetics,” which literally means “above genetics.” In other words, we inherit our genes from our parents, but it’s our lifestyle choices that shape our health.

Let me get back on track now!
I became a caregiver for a few of my health clients and found that I truly enjoy helping. I’m a patient and gentle soul, and it makes my heart happy to work with elders. I don’t provide nursing care or medical assistance; instead, I support people who feel overwhelmed by daily life.
Keeping track of medications can become complicated. Housekeeping can get too hard. And loneliness is a growing epidemic, not just for older people. I’ve been a cook, cleaner, driver, and jester. I do what’s needed to help people stay home longer, and I always bring light.
My intention here is to give you a sense of who I am as a person. I’d love the opportunity to talk with you, hear about your needs, and see how I might help. My schedule shifts daily, but I always make time for the people who need me.
Reach out. Send me an email at k2.kroll@gmail.com. I’ll see it right away. Unless I’m sleeping, with a client, or off to the beach for the day, you’ll probably hear back within minutes.
If you’d like to know more about my health program for people experiencing dementia symptoms or looking to prevent them, please read this post and download my short booklet. I’ve boiled a lot of information down into a simple, practical guide anyone can use.
Until then, be well.
Love, Amy
